Brief background:

A freshman in CLAMP School High-School section, Kendo champion and a healthboard member, Takeshi is also part of the CLAMP Campus defencive forces, Duklyon. Everyday he must be ready to fight for justice against the evil Imonoyama Shopping District Organization along with his partner and classmate Kentarou and his upperclassman Erii, lead by the mysterious General.

Takeshi comes from a poor family but as a smart and diligent student he does well in CLAMP School. His problem is fitting school work in his schedule with his duties as the defender of peace and a part-timer.

Personality:

Takeshi takes everything seriously, whether it's school, work or defending the peace. He doesn't actually seem to have much of a sense of humour in the first place. CLAMP School's tendency to party more than study only annoys him. He generally gets annoyed and embarrassed easily, especially when it comes to any kind of goofiness or messing about. He also seems to hate not having a normal life as a normal student and is touchy about his poverty. Especially irksome he finds Kentarou.

Despite all this he never even considers leaving Duklyon (although that might be because he's paid for it) or not hanging around with Kentarou. Kentarou's cookings seem to agree with him well too. Not to mention that he seems to care for Kentarou's health almost as much as Kentarou does for his. Their common "enemy" is Erii with her hammer attacks whom they both fear more than anything.

He's the genre savvy guy in the group and always points out when Kentarou slips out of the hero imago. He's also the only sense of reason in most situations, being the straight man of the series.

He can't paint to safe his life and he's no good at knitting or cooking either. Nor acting. Nor singing. He has a weakness to cute things although he can restrain himself slightly better than Kentarou. His dream is to get a well-paying, respectable job.
